Match report The seconds, however, suffered a ten wicket mauling at the hands of West Bergholt 2nd XI at The Glebe. The tone for the innings was set from the very first ball of the Mersea innings as Mick Laver guided the ball to slip for a first ball duck. Only Ian Young (38) reached double figures as Mersea were bowled out for 85. The Bergholt openers then took little time in chasing the target down winning the match in the 14th over.
