Match report The Two Counties first eleven welcomed Kelvedon & Feering 2nd's to The Glebe on 14th May, in chilly conditions. Batting first Mersea posted 188 all out in 43.4 overs, Digs Taylor top scoring with an excellent 80, while Matt White hit a rapid 25 off of 17 balls, which included two sixes. Ollie Wilton-Steer was the pick of the visiting bowlers with 6 for 74.
In reply, only Mick Warner (64) posed any threat to the Mersea total. Tom Sanderson bowled another tidy spell returning 2 for 22 from 10, but the performance of the day was Adam Passfield’s career best 5 for 28 as Kelvedon were bowled out for 132.
