West Bergholt 2nd v West Mersea Cricket Club TC 2nd on Sat 26 May 2018 at 13:00
West Mersea Cricket Club Lost by 10 wickets

Match report A second consecutive ten wicket defeat for the seconds has pinned them solidly at the foot of Division Nine South table. Travelling to West Bergholt with ten players, with an average age of 54.9, the most crucial thing for Graham Pryke to do would be to win the toss and bat. Thankfully he did - however, only Anthony Shearman (13) reached double figures as Mersea were rolled over for 39, Mohammed Ismail (4 for 10) and Craig Allister (3 for 4) making light work of the Mersea batting line up. In reply, Bergholt raced to victory in 4.2 overs, although debutant Chris Warren showed promise and was unlucky not to claim his first Mersea wicket.
