The home side posted 206 all out in 44 overs, with Adam Rutter the most successful Mersea bowler with 4 for 38. In reply, Rutter (106) led the run chase posting the first Mersea century of the season, and his eighth for the club. A second wicket stand of 127 with Luke Bruce (40), and good support from Chris Rayner (25) saw Mersea to a five wicket success in 37 overs. With Eight Ash Green's defeat at home to Nowton, Mersea are second one point behind.
