Match report The wheels have come off the Two Counties first eleven bandwagon in a big way, with a third successive defeat, this time at home to Melton St Audrys on 15th August. The visitors batted first and recovered from 14 for 3, with half centuries for Mick Utting (66) and Jothi Barnsley-Sadasi (52) lifting them to a tea time total of 216 for 9. Matt Wilkin (4 for 72) and Darren Rumble (3 for 52 from 14) were the most successful of the Mersea bowlers. In reply, it was another disappointing Mersea batting performance as Mersea slumped to 102 all out, with Darren Rumble (28) top scoring.
