Match report Mersea followed up their weekend of success with a 17 run win in the midweek game with St Martins. Luke Conway and James Rutter both reached retirement, Conway lofting four sixes. With the rest of the side bowled out for 80, it was left to Conway to return to reach 43no and lift the score to 107 for 8.
A solid all round bowling display by Mersea saw the hosts restricted to 90 for 8 in their reply. Stuart Elson recording a career best 2 for 3, while there was also two wickets for Ben Rumble (2 for 5).
